As part of Subways’ Division of Service Delivery, the OCC oversees real-time train operations, coordinates emergency and incident response, and manages systemwide service adjustments across all subway lines.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management or related field with at least 5 years’ experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Ability to coordinate routine activities and emergency responses.
• Experience with General Orders and Signal/Power operations is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate response during emergencies and manage power restoration activities.
• Oversee daily OCC operations to support safe, reliable, and on‑time subway performance.
• Use OCC tech to monitor service and inform decisions.
• Follow protocols and notify NYCT divisions and external agencies during incidents.
• Oversee implementation of General Orders, Signal Bulletins, and Special Operations.
• Lead safety planning to move customers and personnel out of harm’s way.
• Coordinate the Drug Testing Program per NYCT procedures.
• Direct fan plant operations to support ventilation and safety needs.
• Investigate incidents and prepare required reports.
• Supervise OCC supervisory staff and provide coaching.
