Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft seeks an executive-level leader to shape the New Product Development sourcing and procurement strategy. You will drive supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets across a multi-hundred million dollar annual spend.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative aircraft programs. The position emphasizes risk management, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with Cirrus’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required within Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent combination education and experience.
• 12+ years’ experience leading work related systems, processes and challenges.
• 7+ years direct leadership experience.
• Travel may be required up to 25-50% (domestic and international).
• Negotiation experience with internal/external parties.
• Contract Management experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong planning and organizing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the NPD sourcing/procurement strategy.
• Develop annual business plans for NPD/programs and align with strategy; quantify outcomes and budgets.
• Set and manage area budgets in line with strategy.
• Communicate strategy and ensure cross-functional integration.
• Lead key supplier relationships and risk management in NPD supply chain.
• Oversee performance and development of direct reports; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans for senior management.
• Define organizational structure to meet business objectives.
• Identify capabilities needed and mentor teams to close gaps.
• Ensure order fulfillment and adherence to inventory targets within NPD.
