Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Sourcing Manager (Commodity Lead) to manage strategic sourcing for new product introductions.

You will lead cross-functional teams across IT, engineering, marketing, sales, and supply chain to execute the program lifecycle and negotiate long-term supplier agreements. The role requires strong negotiation, contract knowledge, and program management to align with Cirrus objectives while traveling up to 25-50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of strategic sourcing experience or equivalent combination.
• Advanced knowledge of domestic and international supplier contracts.
• Strong negotiation, communication, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Program/Project management with experience delivering complex programs and cross-functional changes.
• Master's degree and related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and execute a global strategy for the program to achieve annual goals and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through full project lifecycle from discovery to close-out.
• Negotiate long-term agreements and manage contractual obligations for the program.
• Own supplier relationships and monitor performance against quality and cost metrics.
• Provide guidance on cost modeling early in development and forecast global supply base.
