Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Head of Contract Management for Hub North America to provide leadership across the full contract lifecycle, from tendering and negotiation through project execution, claims management, dispute resolution and closeout.

You will collaborate with Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Engineering and other functions to enable successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• University degree in Law or equivalent with legal education preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience as a Contract Manager or similar.
• Experience in contract management during tendering and project execution for complex projects.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and administering complex contracts.
• Knowledge of contract strategy, risk allocation, change management, and dispute resolution.
• Ability to guide on complex contractual matters with strong negotiation and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Contract Management strategy for Hub North America.
• Lead the Contract Management organization and ensure standard application of methodologies and procedures.
• Review tender documents to identify obligations, risks, and opportunities.
• Support tendering and sales with compliant proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and financial risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide CM support during project execution, including claims and changes.
• Coach CM professionals and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
