Job summary

VALLEY OF THE SUN YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION is seeking a Vice President of Operations and Programs to lead strategic, multi-branch operations and program delivery. The role balances executive leadership with hands-on branch oversight, driving growth, safety, and high-quality member experiences across the association.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Ten or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple branches or departments.
• Multi-site operational leadership preferred.
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
• Experience developing leaders through coaching and mentorship.
• Experience leading organizational change.
• Experience building community partnerships.
• Aquatics and program leadership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for multiple YMCA branches and program areas.
• Serve as the Executive Director of the Southwest Valley YMCA and partner with the COO.
• Establish, monitor, and evaluate KPIs for membership, program participation, safety, and operations.
• Drive operational excellence, innovation, and growth while ensuring exceptional member experiences.
• Foster community partnerships and lead organizational change initiatives.
