Job summary

Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, West Virginia, seeks a seasoned General Manager to drive overall business performance, profitability, and strategic growth across track operations and events.

You will lead the Operations Manager, oversee budgeting, pricing, and customer relationships, and collaborate with executive leadership to maximize use of facilities, optimize revenue, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during a busy calendar of motorsport events.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business management, operations management, or a related leadership capacity.
• At least 3 years of direct responsibility for financial performance, budget management, and team leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Proven success in improving profitability, managing operating expenses, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plans, operating budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial objectives.
• Maintain accountability for P&L performance, margins, costs, and profitability.
• Analyze financial results and implement corrective strategies to meet targets.
• Evaluate event profitability, utilization, pricing, and revenue opportunities.
• Oversee deposits, billing, payment schedules, receivables, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare analyses and business cases for capital investments and long-term initiatives.
• Build relationships with racing organizations, promoters, and corporate partners.
• Lead customer retention and renewal strategies and seek new business opportunities.
• Oversee event booking strategies, calendar planning, pricing structures, and commitments.
• Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to support events and revenue growth.
• Ensure timely professional handling of customer concerns and contractual matters.
