The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a guest-focused Head of Mixology to lead our beverage program across the hotel's dining outlets. You will design innovative cocktails, mentor bartenders, and ensure service excellence in a Five-Star environment on Michigan Avenue.

• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a three-meal period in a restaurant Five-Star hotel.
• In depth understanding of various cuisine, wines, and pairings.
• Ability to speak English fluently; additional languages would be highly advantageous.

• Create seasonal and signature beverage menus aligned with The Peninsula and guest expectations.
• Standardize recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality controls across all departments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop bartenders, bar managers, and beverage teams.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Utilize the POS and HOTsos systems as per policies and procedure in place.

Working with a talented team of Food & Beverage professionals, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a guest-focused Head of Mixology.

• Work for a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and implement innovative cocktail, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage programs
• Create seasonal and signature beverage menus aligned with The Peninsula and guest expectations
• Standardize recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality controls across all departments
• Lead, mentor, and develop bartenders, bar managers, and beverage teams
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards
• Assist Z Bar in staff scheduling, delegation of job tasks, monitoring and supervision of service, monitoring reservations and table assignment, and ensuring managerial floor presence
• Utilize the POS and HOTsos systems as per policies and procedure in place

To be considered for the position, you must have work authorization in the United States. The salary range for this role is $80,000-100,000 per year.
