Job summary

German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States, Inc. (GACC South) in Atlanta, GA, seeks a senior leader to drive Membership, Events, and Communications strategy. You will manage a 6–8 person team, build stakeholder relationships, and guide revenue growth while overseeing a high-standard event portfolio.

The role requires fluency in English and strong leadership, with German fluency preferred. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
7+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, membership, events, business development, or related field including leadership experience.
Experience leading strategies across multiple functional areas and developing teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategy for Membership, Events, and department communications.
Lead day-to-day operations across Membership, Events, and Communications.
Drive member acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Oversee event portfolios, budgets, partnerships, vendors, and venues.
Provide strategic oversight of department communications and marketing activities.
Monitor KPIs and ensure data quality for decision-making.
Collaborate with senior leadership and regional teams.
