Job summary

Hadrian is seeking an experienced mechanical engineering leader to build and grow a high-performance team tasked with turning hard factory automation problems into production-ready solutions.

You will guide the design of automation equipment, lead design reviews, and coordinate with controls, software, and manufacturing teams to push the boundaries of what is possible in modern manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 12+ years designing automation equipment, test equipment or production machinery.
• Proven record delivering automation equipment from concept through commissioning on production lines that run around the clock.
• Deep mechanical design skills: mechanisms, fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, tolerance stacks, actuator sizing and machine safety.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and grow the mechanical engineering team that designs Hadrian's automation equipment.
• Deliver machines, fixtures, end-of-arm tooling and material handling from concept through build and production run-in.
• Set design standards and run design reviews covering CAD, drawings, GD&T, design for manufacture and assembly, and machine safety.
