Job summary

Panelmatic seeks a seasoned Materials Lead to develop and execute enterprise-wide materials management strategies. You will oversee warehouse operations, material flow, shipping, inventory control, and logistics across locations to optimize working capital and on-time delivery.

The role standardizes materials processes, drives safety, productivity, and inventory accuracy, and leads continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, business or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for leadership roles.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in materials management, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain.
• Experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and outbound shipping.
• Develop standardized warehouse processes, procedures, and KPIs across all facilities.
• Optimize layouts, storage utilization, and material handling systems to support growth.
• Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and warehouse productivity.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Design efficient material flow from receiving to production and shipment.
• Establish replenishment systems like Kanban and supermarket concepts.
• Partner with Operations and Production to prevent shortages and interruptions.
