Job summary

FREEWAVE ACQUISITION INC. seeks a Director of Manufacturing and Quality to lead all manufacturing and QA operations from design handoff to full-scale production.

You will drive strategic initiatives, optimize capacity, and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and industry best practices to deliver high-quality products. You will supervise engineers, quality managers, and production staff, ensuring regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, AS9100, OSHA) and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• MBA or manufacturing management is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certification and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor desirable.
• 10+ years in manufacturing and quality management with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing and quality operations.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement; reduce cycle times.
• Ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and other standards.
• Lead audits, RCA and corrective actions to prevent defects.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, finance and sales.
• Manage budget and capital planning for equipment and facilities.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on the production floor.
