Job summary

Elve Speed Inc. in Davis, CA seeks an experienced Director of Manufacturing to scale and operate a world-class production operation, working closely with the CEO and COO.

You will lead the factories producing mmWave power amplifiers, own manufacturing and testing KPIs to meet throughput and cost goals, drive yield improvements with the engineering team, design new production lines, and implement MES while maintaining ISO 9001 certification.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or STEM field.
• 10+ years leading manufacturing operations & production planning.
• 5+ years managing people.
• Proven track record scaling production of complex technology products.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 best practices.
• Experience operating a manufacturing facility and scaling production to medium/high volumes.
• Impeccable organization and communication skills.
• Eagerness and ability to be onsite at Elve's factories in Davis, CA 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations of Elve's factories producing mmWave power amplifiers.
• Own manufacturing and testing KPIs to meet throughput and cost goals through optimization and efficient operation of manufacturing processes.
• Drive yield improvement and cost reductions in close cooperation with the engineering team.
• Design and stand up new production lines.
• Implement manufacturing systems (e.g. MES) at the appropriate time.
• Maintain ISO9001 certification and quality systems.
