Job summary

FreeWave Technologies, Inc. seeks a Director of Manufacturing and Quality to oversee internal manufacturing operations and quality assurance, ensuring smooth transitions from design to full-scale production.

The role drives strategic initiatives, continuous improvement, and a culture of high-quality output on a state-of-the-art SMT line. You will lead a diverse team of engineers, quality managers, and production staff, aligning manufacturing with R&D and supply chain to meet customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration required.
• MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing and quality management experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing teams and production/QA functions.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and regulatory standards (ISO 9001/AS9100) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and quality leadership with strategic production oversight.
• Develop capacity planning and resource allocation to meet demand.
• Drive process optimization and technology integration for efficiency.
• Maintain a robust QMS and ensure regulatory compliance (ISO 9001/AS9100/UL).
• Coach and develop cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, supply chain, and operations.
