Job summary

Tides seeks an entrepreneurial fundraising leader to launch its first dedicated Development office in support of the organization’s renewed vision and mission. The Vice President will design fundraising strategies, source and cultivate relationships with individual philanthropists and institutional funders, and lead Gift Officers and Philanthropic Strategists.

This build role requires delivering near-term progress while constructing long-term infrastructure to sustain growth for years to come,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in philanthropy, strategic partnerships, and/or major and principal gifts fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Build broadly restricted and unrestricted operating support for Tides.
• Raise philanthropic capital for Tides-led initiatives in democracy, climate justice, immigration, gender equity, and reproductive health.
• Lead and build the development team, developing systems, pipeline, and moves-management.
