IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is seeking a Superintendent – Maintenance Planning for Ashtabula, OH to lead the site's planning function and drive reliability. The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Procurement to deliver safe, efficient maintenance with strong planning standards.

The position is salaried exempt, day shift, with 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. hours, M–F, occasional overtime, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in a related technical field preferred.
10+ years in maintenance planning/reliability/turnaround in chemical or PSM environments.
Proven leadership of maintenance planning teams and strong collaboration across functions.
Strong SAP PM/MM/CMMS proficiency and data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Lead the Maintenance Planning team of nine direct reports and establish standard planning processes.
Develop, coach, and mentor Maintenance Planners and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
Drive initiatives to reduce non-value-added work, improve schedule compliance, and increase productivity.
Ensure high-quality maintenance plans for preventive, corrective, capital, and turnaround work.
Oversee procurement activities and interface with contractors and vendors.
Champion SAP/CMMS utilization and ensure accurate data for asset reliability.
