Zusammenfassung

Performance Team is seeking an experienced Operations leader in Texas to oversee a large distribution facility, driving productivity, safety, and KPI achievement. You will manage a team of 5+ supervisors and 200+ associates, focus on cost control, and coordinate warehousing with transportation, drayage, and E‑commerce fulfillment.

You will lead process improvements, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with port and customer teams to meet service levels and lead times.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7–15 years’ experience in fast paced transportation and warehousing environment.
• Experience managing transportation and warehousing operations.
• Experience in a 3PL environment supporting multiple customers or lines of business helpful.
• Experience in transportation management, pick-up and delivery, dray, etc.
• Experience working with drayage drivers and services.
• Experience implementing and managing KPIs across operations and holding teams accountable.
• Solid financial, analytical and P&L experience.
• Familiarity with Lean techniques and continuous improvement models.
• Experience with warehouse and transportation management systems.

Aufgaben

• Develops and maintains operations business plans and standards to enable goals and continuous improvement.
• Ensures procedures for verification of shipments, disposition of materials, and inventory accuracy.
• Reviews operating reports and directs resolution of problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Manages facility P&L and oversees cost control.
• Collaborates with port management to ensure drayage efficiency.
• Conducts data reporting and interfaces with other functions to support customers.
• Trains employees on policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Monitors safe practices and housekeeping across the facility.
