Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a logistics leader to direct and coordinate distribution center functions with 3rd party carriers. You will collaborate with the DC Operations team, Store Support Center Logistics, and Store Operations for planning and support.

The role emphasizes leading a team, optimizing outbound logistics, and delivering measurable carrier performance improvements across the network. Strong supervision and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
• Three to five years of relevant experience required
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with software applications and transportation systems
• Subject to National Security screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with drayage providers to deliver inbound containers and plan weekly shipments
• Receive shipment tenders from planning team and coordinate with warehouse operations
• Ship and track outbound shipments to stores and resolve delivery issues
• Report weekly carrier performance metrics to the Director of NA Logistics
• Develop processes for outbound shipments and receiving at DCs
• Lead coordinators to ensure precise planning and timely execution
• Provide training and develop team members toward leadership roles
• Analyze opportunities to improve drayage provider performance and report findings to warehouse managers
