Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP's Konexo division seeks a Head of Legal Solutions and AI Programs to lead the strategy, growth, and delivery of US legal solutions and AI-enabled offerings. You will own sales, solution design, pricing, delivery, and client expansion across managed services, projects, advisory work, and technology-enabled legal delivery.

You will build scalable offerings, oversee engagements, sponsor key clients, and collaborate with sales, finance, and leadership to drive revenue

Job description

The Head of Legal Solutions and AI Programs leads the strategy, growth, and delivery of Konexo US legal solutions and AI-enabled offerings. The role owns sales, solution design, pricing, delivery, optimization, and client expansion across managed services, projects, advisory work, and technology-enabled legal delivery. This leader works closely with clients, internal stakeholders, global Konexo colleagues, sales teams, and delivery leaders to build scalable offerings and deliver successful client outcomes.

Success in this role requires a leader who can combine commercial ownership, operational discipline, legal services expertise, and practical use of AI and technology to build scalable client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and growth of Konexo’s legal services portfolio, including project-based work, recurring managed services, and large-scale legal delivery programs.
• Design scalable service offerings with clear scope, pricing, delivery models, and operating frameworks.
• Oversee delivery of legal services engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as executive sponsor for key clients and maintain senior-level relationships that support delivery quality, growth, and long-term client satisfaction.
• Partner with firm sales, finance, and leadership to support revenue growth, margin management, and forecasting.
• Embed technology, automation, and AI into legal services delivery, working with Konexo and Eversheds Sutherland innovation teams to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team across legal delivery, project management, technology, and operations.
• Collaborate with other US and Global Konexo team members and Eversheds Sutherland colleagues to bring the best of Konexo to clients.
• Represent Konexo in the market, including at industry events and client forums, to share insights, build brand awareness, and deepen client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in legal services, alternative legal services, consulting, or complex professional services.
• Proven experience building, scaling, and delivering managed services, recurring service offerings, or large-scale project-based legal delivery programs.
• Strong understanding of corporate legal departments and legal operations, particularly how legal teams improve efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Experience leading senior client relationships and multidisciplinary teams across legal delivery, operations, project management, or technology-enabled services.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, including experience with pricing, margin management, forecasting, or financial oversight.
• Experience with technology-enabled legal delivery, including automation, AI-supported workflows, workflow tools, and process improvement.

Education

• Advanced degree is a plus: J.D. or M.B.A. (bar admission not required for this role).

Experience

• 12+ years in legal services, ALSPs, consulting, or other professional services.
• Experience in an ALSP, Big 4 legal services, law-firm-affiliated managed services, consulting, or other complex professional services environment.
• Experience leading managed services or recurring service delivery programs.
• Strong background working with corporate legal departments.
• Experience managing teams and senior‑level client relationships.
• Familiarity with technology‑enabled legal delivery (automation, AI, workflow tools).
• Prior financial oversight or P&L responsibility preferred.

This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days in office per week. The salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job‑related considerations. The range for this position is from $195,000 - $285,000, with offers contingent upon the various factors. The firm’s compensation strategy includes not just a base salary but also comprehensive benefits such as healthcare, paid time off, discretionary merit bonuses, life and disability insurance, retirement plans and tailored learning opportunities.
