Job summary

Aurora is hiring a Learning and Development Lead to shape strategy and portfolio for leadership development and manager capability. You will partner with People teams to design scalable tools, govern compliance, and drive measurable impact using data and AI-enabled learning initiatives.

You will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and track outcomes, while aligning programs with Aurora’s business priorities and growth plans in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in L&D, OD, or related HR discipline, including manager development and portfolio ownership.
• Proven partnership with business leaders to build learning solutions grounded in real needs.
• Strong instructional design skills grounded in adult learning principles.
• Experience using data to evaluate impact and shape strategy.
• Excellent facilitation and executive communication skills.
• Vendor and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own learning and development strategy and portfolio, tightly aligned to business priorities and future capability needs.
• Build and evolve leadership and manager development from onboarding through advanced skill-building.
• Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Management, and Workforce Planning to design scalable tools.
• Ensure compliance training is current and tracked.
• Apply product management discipline—roadmaps, prioritization, stakeholder buy-in.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven learning tools and support AI adoption.
• Maintain resourcing, course budget, and vendor relationships.
• Track metrics and report learning impact to senior leadership.
