This senior role requires robust leadership and a track record in clinical or pharmaceutical testing environments, including CAP/CLIA oversight and cross-functional collaboration. The position emphasizes strategic planning, budgeting, staff mentoring, and engagement with cross-functional teams to advance product

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Experience managing Laboratory Operations in a clinical reference lab or pharmaceutical testing environment.
• Training in performing biological assays utilizing analytical chemistry and biochemical approaches.
• Experienced in proteomics tests with a focus on applications for the clinic.
• Experience establishing and managing a high complexity diagnostics laboratory.
• Experience managing all aspects of a laboratory, including budgets, organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise services and procedures in the De Soto laboratory.
• Ensure CAP/CLIA compliance and staff training.
• Develop and maintain procedures and product/service improvements.
• Prepare reports of development and testing procedures.
• Participate in quality reviews and regulatory meetings.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
• Present at scientific conferences as needed.
