Job summary

NCGA, Northern California Golf Association, is seeking a Manager of Junior Golf to oversee tournament administration, player points, awards, and program support for youth initiatives. The role collaborates with the Director of Junior Golf and NCGA Foundation to deliver high-quality junior events across Northern California.

The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• GED and/or 2-3 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of golf tournament formats and the rules of golf.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently with general supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with guests, management, vendors, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration for New Pathway Tour Junior events and NCGA Juniors events, including pre-tournament prep, pairings, local rules and on-site supervision.
• Support JTNC Championship Tour, Pathway Tour and NCGA Juniors points programs and maintain accuracy of results and standings.
• Assist USNDP Team NorCal Program with special projects and team communications.
• Assist Director of Junior Golf in executing new programming through Stellar Plan and coordination with NCGA Foundation.
• Manage the Junior Tour Points Program and determine Junior Players of the Year.
• Build and maintain relationships with other junior golf associations and represent NCGA with junior participants and parents.
• Provide expertise and support to outside tournaments as needed.
• Support NCGA Operations and USNDP Team NorCal Program with special projects.
