Job summary

Liquidity Services in Richardson, TX is seeking a Director, IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead Platform Operations, Network Engineering, and Service Desk teams. The role oversees on-premises, Azure, and AWS, ensuring reliable uptime, security, and scalable end-user services.

You will own budgets, vendor relationships, and modernization efforts, partner with Information Security and DevOps, and drive cost optimization while maintaining strong governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ten or more years of IT infrastructure and operations experience.
• Experience leading multiple IT functions, such as platform operations, network engineering, and service desk.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, ADFS, DNS/DHCP, and Windows and Azure security best practices.
• Budget ownership and vendor management; experience with PCI, SOX, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime of critical infrastructure, network, and end-user services.
• Lead Service Desk performance and end-user support metrics.
• Maintain security patches and PCI/SOX compliance; remediate vulnerabilities.
• Regularly test backups and disaster recovery; meet recovery goals.
• Drive modernization and cloud cost optimization; manage budgets and licensing.
• Develop and mentor Platform Operations, Network Engineering, and Service Desk teams.
• Set strategy and multi-year roadmaps for IT services and cloud direction.
• Oversee field services, network upgrades, and service levels across locations.
