Job summary

Liquidia Technologies seeks a Principal IT Infrastructure Engineer to own the server, storage, virtualization, and network estate across facilities, ensuring SOX, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. You will define the technical roadmap and lead modernization while coordinating with contracted services.

You will manage Azure and on-prem environments, support manufacturing operations, and drive backup/recovery, security baselines, and validation activities in a fast-paced biotech setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in infrastructure engineering across server, virtualization, cloud, and network.
• Hands-on Azure administration including networking, hybrid connectivity, and cost management.
• Experience with Windows Server, clustering, storage, and enterprise networks.
• Experience in backup, DR testing, and recovery procedures under GxP environments.
• Ability to define roadmaps and lead modernization/migration programs.
• Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and infrastructure qualification practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own design, build, and operation of server, storage, virtualization, and network estate.
• Administer Azure and on-premises hypervisor/server infrastructure, including clustering.
• Own enterprise network design, security, segmentation, and internet redundancy.
• Provide onsite engineering support for manufacturing and lab operations.
• Maintain backups, run DR tests, and coordinate with Quality Assurance and validation.
• Perform patching/remediation across server, network, and cloud infra.
• Direct contracted infra and managed cloud resources with clear scope and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement and automation.
• Prepare IT change control and support GxP qualification activities.
