Pairs is hiring a leader to run the investor relations team. You’ll manage five IR associates, report to the founders, and ensure disciplined, high‑performing outreach to family offices and investors.
As a senior IR leader, you’ll keep a clear bar, weekly rhythms, and honest feedback. You’ll coach the team, maintain discretion, and drive the company’s capital raise efforts with strong CRM usage.
Why this seat matters
Founders come to us for one thing, access to our investor network. That network stays strong only as long as every member keeps getting deals that fit what they told us, at the pace they asked for. One careless pitch teaches a family office to ignore our next email. Your team decides which way that goes, every single day.
This is a leadership role first. You’ll run five IR associates, each holding a book of investor members and client companies, and you’ll report directly to both founders. Most of leading a team is unglamorous, and I think that’s the part that matters. A clear bar, a weekly rhythm, honest 1:1s, sitting in on calls and saying the hard thing early. When conversion dipped on one of our teams, more leads didn’t fix it. Daily standups, weekly reviews of real call transcripts and coaching time spent on the people who needed it did. I want someone who already works that way. You’ll stay close to the work as well. The most senior family offices and the new regions we open are yours, because a leader who still takes the hard calls coaches them better.
US$200K to US$300K total compensation, fully remote, with a few hours of overlap with US Eastern time. A team that is already working, a direct line to both founders, and a seat at the most interesting intersection I know of, where the companies defining the future meet the capital that backs them.
