Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business-related field, or equivalent training.
• 10
• Ten years of progressive audit, risk, or examiner experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of banking, risk management, and audit practices.
• Strong leadership, decision making, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication with senior management and stakeholders.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a comprehensive audit assurance program for assigned business units.
• Directly manage a team and oversee a dynamic audit plan for assigned BUs, coaching staff.
• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with senior management.
• Supervise planning, scoping and execution of audits per department policy.
• Analyze systems, processes and controls to assess risk and compliance.
• Review and approve audit reports for clarity and relevance.
• Develop risk assessments and monitor business monitoring activities.
• Serve as audit subject matter expert and monitor banking industry trends.
