Job summary

Sun Life U.S. seeks an Associate Director of Complementary and Integrative Medicine (CIM) to provide expert medical consultation, strategic direction, and program leadership for CIM initiatives across PinnacleCare member programs.

This role blends clinical oversight with strategic planning, research collaboration, and provider network development. It aims to expand CIM services, improve quality, and deliver measurable member value in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited naturopathic medical college.
• Board certification by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners.
• Demonstrated experience in program leadership, strategic planning and service expansion within integrative medicine.
• Strong clinical foundation and working knowledge of complementary, alternative and integrative modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication with ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Establish the CIM program vision, mission, and strategic goals.
• Lead multi-year strategic plan to expand CIM services and partnerships.
• Serve as CIM subject matter expert and provide clinical guidance to teams.
• Oversee CIM medical advisory board and provider network development.
• Manage program operations, budget, and measurable impact.
• Develop strategies to increase CIM visibility and usage across the organization.
• Collaborate with research teams on evidence-based CIM reports.
