Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking an Associate Director of Complementary and Integrative Medicine to provide clinical consultation, strategic direction, and program leadership for CIM initiatives across PinnacleCare members.

This role blends clinical practice with operational, research, and partnership development to advance whole-person care. You will establish CIM vision, grow services with partnerships, oversee budget and operations, and mentor teams while collaborating with the CMO and Research.

Qualifications

• ND degree from an accredited naturopathic medical college.
• Board certification by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners.
• Experience in program leadership and service expansion within integrative medicine.
• Strong clinical foundation in CIM modalities and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Establish CIM program vision, mission, and strategic goals.
• Lead multi-year plan to expand CIM services and partnerships.
• Provide clinical consultation and guidance to health advisors and internal teams.
• Collaborate with the CMO to expand the CIM Medical Advisory Board and referral network.
• Oversee operations, productivity, and budget performance.
• Develop strategies to increase CIM usage across the organization.
• Collaborate with Research to produce evidence-based CIM reports.
• Maintain CIM clinician and facility database for current, credible data.
• Deliver CIM training and professional development for internal staff.
