Job summary

GoFundMe is hiring a Manager, Software Engineering, Integrations Platform to lead a team building and operating the Integrations Platform, including Public APIs, Webhooks, and Salesforce integrations. You will set technical direction, manage delivery, and coach engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires leadership experience, deep back-end expertise, and a passion for reliable, scalable integration solutions that connect GoFundMe with partners and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams as a people manager.
• Able to engage in design/architecture discussions for backend, distributed systems.
• Proven track record delivering complex platform or backend projects.
• Strong collaboration with Product, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and support a team of 5-8 software engineers building and operating the Integrations Platform.
• Own delivery and execution of the integrations roadmap, balancing partner needs and platform work.
• Stay hands-on in architecture reviews, proposals, and designs, prototyping where beneficial.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers; establish growth plans and performance management.
• Drive operational excellence with on-call health, SLO monitoring, and incident management.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, GTM, Customer Success and other teams to deliver integration experiences.
• Partner with customers and external partners to troubleshoot complex challenges.
