Job summary

Prison Fellowship International seeks a Director of Institutional Partnerships to lead our fundraising strategy, secure six- and seven-figure grants, and build a multi-year pipeline with foundations, corporations, and Gifts-in-Kind.

You will own institutional revenue, forecast growth, ensure compliance, and partner with Development, Global Impact, and Finance to position PFI for larger, international partnerships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success securing, renewing, and expanding institutional and foundation grants.
• Proven ability to lead complex proposal development, including budgets, metrics, outcomes, and compliance requirements.
• Strong executive presence and ability to represent the organization credibly in high-level institutional conversations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a foundation-first institutional fundraising strategy with five-, six-, and seven-figure grants.
• Own institutional revenue performance and multi-year forecasting; surface risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Lead collaboration across Development, Global Impact, and Finance to readiness for sophisticated fundraising.
• Supervise the Senior Grant Writer and coordinate with contractors as portfolio grows.
• Maintain grant calendars, dashboards, and reporting; ensure compliance and on-time renewals.
