Job summary

FairSquare is seeking a Chief Information & AI Officer to own the technology stack, data, infrastructure, security and AI strategy across the organization. You will build the operating model, governance, and guardrails to satisfy regulators, funding partners and business owners, while leading a distributed team of software, data science and IT professionals.

This executive role requires a track record of budgeting at scale, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of cloud platforms, AI governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology roles with hands-on AI/ML or data science exposure.
• At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
• Experience owning budgets and business planning at scale.
• Strategic ability to set direction across technology and AI domains.

Responsibilities

• Set the technology and AI strategy aligned to Key Goals and outcomes.
• Lead the AI Center of Excellence with shared tooling and playbooks.
• Prioritize AI use cases with risk-tiered governance and human oversight where needed.
• Define governance for model risk management, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure including security and resilience.
• Communicate measures and ROI to the President and Board.
