Job summary

The Lexington Hotel NYC seeks an Executive Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and guest services across all rooms and public spaces.

You will lead the housekeeping team, manage schedules, complete daily objectives, and ensure safety and inventory compliance. This role requires strong hospitality, teamwork, and quality focus, spanning training, reporting, and coordination with engineering to maintain brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and service preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to handle pace and pressure.
• Strong listening and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to work varied schedule including evenings/nights/holidays.
• Clock in/out and breaks procedures to be followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Housekeeping Team and daily stand-up.
• Schedule room assignments and ensure rooms available for sale.
• Prepare status reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain storage rooms and housekeeping spaces.
• Submit maintenance requests to Engineering.
• Manage inventory of supplies and amenities.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly housekeeping inventories.
• Manage Lost and Found procedures.
• Assign supervisor duties and ensure quality.
• Ensure chemical safety per OSHA standards.
• Open/close department and oversee daily objectives.
