Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus Dublin is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead all housekeeping operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in alignment with Hilton standards. The role focuses on quality control, staff development, inventory management, labor efficiency, and guest satisfaction, coordinating with Front Office, Engineering, HR and other departments.

Candidates should have strong leadership, experience in full-service hotels, and a proven ability to drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years housekeeping management experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with Hilton or other major hotel brands is preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing schedules, labor costs, inventory, and departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.
• Supervise and support Housekeeping Supervisors, Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and other team members.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff to maintain a positive, productive work environment.
• Prepare and manage employee schedules based on occupancy and labor budgets.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and departmental performance for efficiency.
• Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and brand standard compliance.
• Maintain cleaning procedures, quality control, and standards.
• Manage supplies, linens, uniforms, and inventory to control costs.
