Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Director of Facilities to oversee hospital operations, maintenance, and management of all facility-related services across the campus. You will lead a team to maintain a safe, compliant environment aligned with patient care goals.

The role requires directing facilities staff, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to optimize service delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or seven+ years of leadership-experience in lieu of degree.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a closely related field required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility managers, technicians, and support staff.
• Oversee day-to-day hospital facility operations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ADA, Joint Commission, and healthcare standards.
• Manage facility operations budget and forecasting.
• Collaborate with departments to align facilities goals with patient care objectives.
• Lead quality improvement and regulatory inspection preparation.
