Archer seeks a seasoned leader to guide a team of engineers in power electronics for propulsion inverters and generator rectifiers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of power electronics design experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams.
• Experience designing high-voltage (400-1000V) systems with thermal, EMC, and reliability constraints.
• Proficiency with simulation tools (PLECS, LTspice) and EDA environments (Altium, Mentor Graphics).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers designing high-voltage power stages for propulsion inverters.
• Oversee selection and integration of SiC/GaN semiconductors and gate drivers.
• Drive end-to-end hardware development from architecture to volume production.
• Manage supplier engagement to ensure quality and scalability.
• Lead hardware qualification campaigns per DO-160G and DO-254.
• Collaborate with mechanical and thermal teams to optimize power density and cooling.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team while managing schedules and budgets.
