Job summary

We seek an experienced electrical/automation engineer to capture requirements, design electrical hardware, and coordinate cross-disciplinary system integration with mechanical and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of professional experience in electrical/automation, preferably with exposure to thermal systems or aviation-related projects.
• Technical curiosity and ability to learn new technologies, tools, and interdisciplinary topics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication to document work and present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Capture and validate electrical related requirements.
• Define electrical hardware logic control as applicable.
• Create electrical schematics and sizing to feed EWIS team.
• Review and approve electrical diagrams, installation docs, and activities.
• Analyze electrical functionality of Safety documents.
• Coordinate component simulations for Flight Science input.
• Define electrical interfaces and maintain eICD.
• Prepare and maintain Electrical Load characteristics document.
• Review DO160 Electrical sections and qualification docs.
• Write or assist writing test procedures and reports.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate systems.
