Job summary

Ladders in San Diego, CA seeks a Dir, Engineering Program/Project Mgmt to lead the engineering program and project execution for a portfolio of healthcare software products in a regulated environment.

You will shape long-term investments, coordinate cross-functional teams with Product Management and Commercial groups, and drive scalable, secure, and commercially viable solutions through Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading complex software products or platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native software products (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated leadership of large cross‑functional product development teams.
• Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, software lifecycle management, and regulated product development.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing roadmaps, budgets, and portfolio investments.
• Healthcare IT or regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product portfolio strategy and roadmap for a healthcare software platform.
• Define and align long-term platform investments across legacy and next-generation cloud solutions.
• Balance customer commitments, technical debt reduction, cybersecurity, scalability, and innovation priorities.
• Partner with Product Management and Commercial teams to translate market needs into executable product strategies.
• Lead the development and commercialization of the next-generation cloud-based platform.
• Drive adoption of modern software development practices including Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
• Own overall program success, including scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, and business outcomes.
