Job summary

Handoff in Austin is hiring a Head of Marketing to scale from $10M to $100M+ ARR by building the growth system from the ground up. You’ll design and own three growth engines—Content, PLG, and Outbound—in close partnership with Sales and Product, and you’ll hire the team to run them.

This is a builder role, not a branding position. You’ll own SEO, free-trial activation, outbound programs, and shared GTM reporting, establishing the measurement cadence and team structure to make Marketing a durable

Qualifications

• Experience building growth systems at scale in B2B SaaS.
• Proven ability to design and own Content, PLG, and Outbound growth engines.
• Strong leadership and collaboration with Sales and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Build the content engine: SEO, social, and video to educate customers and drive qualified traffic.
• Own PLG growth: activation, onboarding, lifecycle messaging to expand usage.
• Stand up an outbound warming system to qualify accounts before Sales engagement.
• Lead GTM reporting with Sales; ensure ICP clarity and pipeline metrics.
• Build and lead a high‑performing marketing team and operating rhythms.
• Translate product capabilities into clear, benefit-focused messaging.
• Market across multiple products and customer segments without losing focus.
• Maintain ROI discipline while scaling pipeline.
