Job summary

Master Search Solutions is seeking a Director of Development and Construction to lead a ground-up industrial program and drive scale across the Northeast. You will own budgets, cost control, and scheduling, while building a capable team and reporting to ownership.

The role requires 10+ years in similar work, hands-on estimating, and the ability to travel regularly, with base salary in the $300k–$400k range plus bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in ground-up construction and development.
• Multiple ground-up industrial projects delivered concurrently.
• Hands-on estimating experience and budgeting ability.
• Knowledge of site work and base building systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including by air.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ground-up industrial projects from site to CO with schedule ownership.
• Set and defend budgets, lead value engineering, manage change orders.
• Choose delivery method and build a contractor bench for new markets.
• Oversee capital and tenant improvement work across the portfolio.
• Co-lead due diligence and budgets for acquisitions.
• Report status, budget, and schedule to ownership.
