Job summary

Conventus Holdings Corporation seeks an experienced Head of Ground Up Construction Lending to lead strategic growth of the GUC product line, designing investor-centric credit products and overseeing design, engagement, and underwriting policy.

This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborates with Capital Markets, Credit, Operations, Product, and Technology to scale GUC across SFR 1-4, multifamily, and multi-lot development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction lending or real estate finance.
• Deep expertise in ground-up construction loan products across SFR 1-4, multifamily, and multi-lot development.
• Proven track record of sourcing, managing, and growing institutional builder and developer relationships.
• Experience with capital markets, loan sale processes, and investor requirements for construction paper.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex, multi-phase construction projects and underwriting risk.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams across sales, operations, credit, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the strategy for the Ground Up Construction product line across markets.
• Builder and Sponsor Acquisition and Retention: Source and manage builder/developer relationships.
• Revenue Growth: Drive volume through direct channels and improve funnel conversion.
• Sales Support and Enablement: Provide product training and deal structuring support to RMs.
• New Market Strategies: Develop GTM plans for new markets with strong demand.
