Job summary

Aslan seeks a Head of Government Growth in Washington, DC to translate operational traction into funded programs and recurring lines. You will drive the funding mechanics across DoD, IC, and law enforcement, turning requirements into executable budgets.

You will own the artifact chain (POM/IPL, unfunded requirement justifications, reprogramming) and map the decision terrain across offices, commands, and department components to accelerate acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Experience with PPBE, unfunded requirement mechanics, and execution-year reprogramming including below-threshold actions.
• Familiarity with funding for non-traditional intelligence capabilities across defense-wide programs.
• Track record moving capabilities from start to on-contract and recurring funding.

Responsibilities

• Drive funding through PPBE and programming processes.
• Map decision terrain and engage offices across programs to validate requirements and funding.
• Own the artifact chain: POM/IPL, unfunded requirement justifications, reprogramming packages, and out-year FYDP.
• Lead acquisition paths and transition authorities to shorten time from need to funding.
• Coordinate with congressional touchpoints to reinforce the internal programming case.
