Job summary

Bloomberg Connects seeks a senior IT leader to define and govern its enterprise IT and access-management environment as it transitions from shared infrastructure to a standalone operating model.

You will architect the landscape and direct vendors and MSPs, while remaining personally accountable rather than hands-on keyboard. Reporting to the Global Head and Bloomberg Engineering, you will drive identity, endpoints, networking, security, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT, including leadership of infrastructure/enterprise technology.
• Experience designing cloud-first enterprise IT environments with vendor delivery.
• Proven track record transforming IT and managing vendors in fast-paced, high-growth settings.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute IT strategy and roadmap for Bloomberg Connects.
• Lead the transition to standalone IT operating model with enterprise services (identity, networking, endpoints, cloud).
• Oversee global IT operations and service delivery via managed vendors/agencies.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity program (endpoint security, identity protection, IR, DR, BC).
• Govern access, permissions, and governance for enterprise/software post-selection.
• Manage strategic vendors and MSPs with clear standards and accountability.
• Partner with engineering, security, legal, and compliance to meet regulatory needs.
• Establish operating processes, KPIs, and durable documentation.
