Job summary

Informa Markets in Irving, TX is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead revenue growth across new business and existing accounts for our live and digital events. You will build and mentor a high-performing sales team, develop market strategies, and collaborate with marketing to drive campaigns and long-term partnerships.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep experience across the full customer lifecycle, and willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of B2B sales with revenue targets in events/media.
• Proven track record of revenue growth through new business and account expansion.
• Experience managing full customer lifecycle from prospecting to retention.
• Strong CRM, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated sales strategies to drive new business, retention, and account expansion.
• Identify new domestic and international market opportunities while maximizing wallet share.
• Collaborate with Marketing to design campaigns for new customer acquisition and loyalty.
• Lead, mentor, and manage salespeople across new business and account management.
• Oversee pipeline, budgets, and CRM data (Salesforce) across all sales functions.
• Prepare detailed reports on retention metrics, new business ROI, and overall sales effectiveness.
• Ensure team performance aligns with revenue goals and strategic priorities.
