Job summary

DMSi Software is seeking a Documentation Manager to lead the North America and Australia/NZ documentation teams, delivering all customer-facing content across products. The role supports a distributed, partly remote team with a focus on quality, standards, and timely delivery of docs and digital adoption content.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical writing or documentation teams, incl. performance management and recruitment.
• Experience managing distributed or remote teams across regions and time zones.
• Strong understanding of customer-facing documentation practices (help, release notes, knowledge bases).
• Experience with documentation tooling and evaluating platforms across teams.
• Familiarity with applying AI tools to documentation workflows sustainably.
• Ability to balance regional priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and workload-planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a team culture focused on continuous improvement, quality, and strategic thinking.
• Manage performance, development, wellbeing, and recruitment of the team.
• Set and maintain documentation standards across regions and products.
• Own the quality and consistency of customer-facing documentation across all products.
• Ensure timely delivery of docs aligned with software releases.
• Onboard new team members and build a scalable team structure across regions.
• Evaluate and select tools that support consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
