UNDP Careers is seeking a Head of the Gaza Sub‑Office to lead the Palestinian Programme and Partnerships in Gaza, representing UNDP with local interlocutors and international partners. The role includes security, financial oversight, HR, and risk management under the Special Representative guidance.

The incumbent will drive program development, strategic analysis and joint needs assessments, coordinating across units to achieve recovery and resilience outcomes for the Gaza Strip.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree required in relevant fields; alternatively a bachelor’s with two additional years experience.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in recovery and development or related areas.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) required; Arabic is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Represent UNDP in the Gaza Strip and coordinate with UN agencies and authorities.
• Oversee the Gaza Sub-office operations, staff, finance and risk management.
• Lead strategic program development, analysis, planning, and advice.
• Ensure program oversight, RBM, and donor relations.

Advanced university degree in Management, Political or Social Science, International Studies, Public Administration, Economics

First-level university degree with two years qualifying experience
