UN Secretariat in New York seeks a senior leader to head the Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Section. You will drive innovative partnerships to accelerate the 2030 Agenda, advise the UNSDG, and liaise with regional offices.

The role covers partnership intelligence, performance monitoring, and gender mainstreaming across activities. You will build donor engagement, develop innovative financing, and establish tracking systems to ensure strong financial footing for the Resident Coordinator

Qualifications

Advanced university degree in business/public administration, finance, accounting, law, or related field.
Ten years of progressive international development experience in partnerships and resource mobilization.
Field experience in development cooperation; UN system experience desirable.
Experience with digital tools for partnerships and managing large multicultural teams.
Knowledge of UN rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead the Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Section, focusing on innovative partnerships.
Develop and implement partnerships to support the 2030 Agenda and Resident Coordinators.
Advise the UN Sustainable Development Group, liaise with regional offices and divisions.
Build an innovation pipeline with diverse partners and ensure gender mainstreaming.
Ensure financial stability of the Resident Coordinator System through donor engagement and financing.
