Job summary

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Palestine invites applications for a Program Coordinator responsible for the development and quality of humanitarian programs across the West Bank and Gaza, ensuring that interventions are needs-driven, context-adapted, and impactful.

You will lead strategic planning, program monitoring, and technical compliance, while coordinating across teams, partners, and donors, strengthening staff capacities and safeguarding ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Humanitarian Action, human rights, social science or Political Science preferred.
  • 5 years of humanitarian sector experience.
  • 3–4 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program strategies aligned with mission priorities.
  • Design multi-sector programs (WASH, FSL) and coordinate with partners.
  • Develop partnerships and coordinate with clusters, international partners, and national actors.
  • Lead and support cross-team coordination and capacity building.

Job description

The Program Coordinator oversees the development and quality of SI programs ensuring they are needs-driven, context-adapted, and impactful. He supports strategic planning, program monitoring, technical compliance, and coordination across teams, partners, and donors while strengthening staff capacities and safeguarding ethical standards.

The main challenges 1 Developing strategy and defining SI value add for West Bank including positioning on coordination architecture and preparedness in the case of a medium-scale escalation 2 Developing SI strategy and relevance in Shelter and FSL for Gaza 3 Challenges include compliance resource allocation staff capacity and integrating cross-cutting themes while mitigating operational and ethical risks

Priorities for the 2 3 first months Support the structuration of the mission including onboarding new staff expanding activities and developing new sectors and areas of intervention Reinforce quality monitoring of program strategies and ensure the implementation and harmonization of SI frameworks tools and procedures across all teams Implement the strategy of the mission and develop the activities of SI in the West Bank Continue to support the activities and Gaza to kept Gaza as a key Wash actor Security constraints The mission faces no particular security constraints in Jerusalem however there are major security and access challenges in the Gaza Strip

DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE

Master's degree in Humanitarian Action, human rights, social science (geography, sociology, anthropology, history) or Political Science is more preferable.

Experience in the humanitarian sector : 5 years

Experience on a similar position : 3/4 years
