Job summary
Movement Labs is hiring a Senior Fundraising Systems Manager / Fundraising Systems Director (Major Donor) to lead building scalable, automated donor engagement systems. The role combines data architecture, tool-building, and AI-powered workflows to support a high-output fundraising operation from a fully remote setup.
The candidate will own donor data taxonomy, design automations, and partner with frontline fundraisers to translate needs into practical tools, enabling a lean team to work
Qualifications
- Built data/CRM systems from scratch rather than using an existing CRM.
- Deep use of AI tools (Claude or similar) and connectors (Zapier, API integrations) in workflow design.
- Generalist, hands-on orientation translating needs into working systems.
- Major donor fundraising experience enabling translator between fundraising language and tools.
- Ability to quickly learn a complex internal process and systematize it.
Responsibilities
- Systems Strategy & Architecture: own donor data roadmap and evaluate/build tools to extend or replace current setup.
- AI-Powered Workflow Automation: build Claude-powered automations for briefing, prospecting, etc.
- Hands-On Build & Implementation: do data wrangling, tool configuration, fixes; translate needs into tools.
- Cross-Team Enablement & Technical Partnership: document systems and train the team; focus on process improvement.
