Job summary

Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is seeking a driven marketer to lead all aspects of applications marketing for speedrun, owning brand voice and driving founder-facing campaigns from discovery to conversion. The role sits at the intersection of content, campaigns, and community.

You will build multi-channel strategies across X, LinkedIn, Substack, and more, while partnering with deal teams and GPs to reach diverse founder ecosystems from San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of marketing, content, or growth in tech/startups.
• Strong familiarity with founder and startup ecosystems.
• Excellent written communication; can edit newsletters founders want to read.
• Proven track record running multi-channel campaigns with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to manage a campaign calendar, tooling, and reporting.
• Comfort with ambiguity and autonomous work in fast-moving environments.
• Experience with HubSpot, Substack, paid social, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Run founder application campaigns across campaigns cycles and channels.
• Own full campaign cycle incl. channel mix, assets, and growth levers.
• Develop strategies to reach underrepresented founder communities.
• Partner with investing team to align messaging with fund priorities.
