Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) seeks a transformative Vice President of Fleet, Supply Chain & Logistics to lead fleet strategy, procurement, and global logistics. You will shape a scalable end-to-end supply chain, partner with Operations, Sales, and Finance, and drive data-driven decision-making to optimize assets and service levels.

The role requires 15+ years in senior supply chain roles, expertise in fleet operations, and a track record of cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business administration, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of leadership in supply chain, logistics, transportation, fleet management, or related operations.
• Experience managing large-scale transportation and fleet operations across multiple sites.
• Strong financial acumen with large operating and capital budgets.
• Deep understanding of transportation regulations, procurement, inventory management, and logistics optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PTR's fleet, supply chain, procurement, and logistics strategy.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including sourcing, procurement, and inventory management.
• Oversee transportation networks, fleet utilization, and logistics processes to reduce costs.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, fleet efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee fleet lifecycle management, including maintenance and capital investment strategies.
• Manage supplier and logistics relationships for cost-effective delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align demand planning and capacity.
• Drive Lean, automation, analytics, and best practices across operations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Develop operating and capital budgets; identify cost savings opportunities.
• Build and lead high-performing teams with a culture of accountability.
• Ensure fleet compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
