Job Description
AXIS is seeking a Head of Financial Lines Claims, North America, to join our North America Claims team to support the expansion of AXIS' presence in the Financial Lines Market in North America. The successful candidate will lead and develop a sophisticated team handling a variety of claims including Management Liability, EPL, Transactional, Crime, & Fiduciary claims for the United States & Bermuda, ensuring excellent claims service and results. The role involves developing the target operating model using data-driven reporting and metrics to deliver top-tier service, and engaging with stakeholders, brokers, and insureds to maintain AXIS's reputation for service excellence.
The responsibilities include:
Key skills and abilities include 7-10+ years in claims management, leadership skills, excellent communication, analytical proficiency, and knowledge of claims, litigation, arbitration, and trial processes. A law degree and admission to a state bar are a plus. Travel is expected for team management and client engagement.
Base salary: $225,000 - $275,000.
